Redacción deportes, 5 mar (EFE) – The Portuguese coach José Mourinho let himself be loved by Real Madrid, when he assured that he would have no problem coming back if they called him because working for the white club is “a unique experience” of which he keeps “a fantastic memory”.
The name of Mourinho begins to sound strongly among the candidates for the bench of Real Madrid next season. The Portuguese responded to the rumours with words of affection to what was his club.
“I have a fantastic memory overall. Working for Real Madrid has been a unique and different experience to all I’ve had, and that has been great experiences,” he told ‘Deportes Cuatro’.
“We did fantastic things, we won a League in a unique way and we also had bad moments. I made mistakes and I have improved a lot as a coach and as a person after this experience. I’m calm,” he added.
Mourinho admitted that just as he has starred in a second stage in Chelsea, he would not see with bad eyes to do it in Real Madrid.
“I haven’t had any problem returning to Chelsea, I won’t have any problem returning to Madrid, Porto, Inter, all the clubs I’ve been to. If someone wants you it’s a good feeling. The only team I’ve been in that one day called me back was Chelsea, not Real Madrid. People take things out of context,” he said.
And he showed his respect to current coach Santiago Solari and president Florentino Pérez. “They asked me which players should buy Real Madrid and I replied that this is a question for Solari and the president, not for me. I consider it an ethical answer that doesn’t come out.
